The collection created for Pink Dolphin required Orcheeze Design Studio to adapt to their established aesthetic. By doing so we were able to complement their current work and expand the line.
This work was created for Neff Headwear. Designing for Shaun Neff was a blast. As a designer, you got a lot of freedom when interpreting his vision. This type of creative freedom allowed for patterns and designs that never became stale or tedious. The sales from these products at retailers such as Tilly’s and PacSun further mark the staying power of the designs made for Neff Headwear.
Burton came to us with the design concepts, “Moonshine” and “Speak Easy”. We wanted to take these two terms that usually carry a negative connotation and create a design that would be lighthearted and humorous. This is the end result.
Funky Circus is the brainchild of founder John Ortiz. This brand was created from scratch in house. From the branding and design to the storyline. Funky Circus was created with the intention to be licensed.
We created a series of graphic designs for Vans active apparel line for some of their more commercial accounts such as JCP and Kohls. We had fun putting our twist into this iconic brand.
Here, you have a small collection of logos we have designed. The brainstorming sessions for logos can sometimes be the most challenging due to the task of interpreting the essence of a company into one iconic image. However, Orcheeze designers are at their best when faced with a challenge and won’t give up until the client is satisfied.
Before creating this design for Beats, we researched popular trends among the target demographic. The idea was not to redo the current trend but instead come up with a new interpretation that would be fresh and readily identifiable as a Beats product. We began with camouflage then took it to a new level by reworking it into a musical militia. As Bob Marley famously said “brutalize me with music” and as a part of the musical militia, you can make that a reality via the Beats by Dr. Dre.
Orcheeze studio’s patterns can be implemented in a variety of ways. Hats, backpacks, t-shirts, gloves and blankets are just a small sample of the canvas onto which a pattern can lend itself. For this reason, our patterns are always made with a strong attention to detail and in a tasteful fashion to assist its versatility.
Rebel Junky is another brand that Orcheeze Studio is currently working on. These fun characters will be licensed to different manufactures. The concept is Junk food that goes against the grain and is active. We are trying to promote an active lifestyle to kids of all ages.
Tokidoki commissioned us to create some t-shirt designs utilizing established characters. In addition, we had the opportunity to create new characters and further develop existing ones.
Created the brand with client guidance from concept to final product. Branding, character design, packaging design and merchandise.
All that was provided was the name. We created the Logo/ Branding/ Packaging and overall story. The client launched and became an instant success. Multi million brand overnight.
